Louise’s background as a barrister (practising at 9 Gough Square in London, now Deka Chambers) inspired her to want to assist students in achieving their aspirations to practise at the Bar and she has assisted many students in achieving significant scholarships through the Inns of Court.
Louise’s professional background is also a great advantage when performing her role as an experienced Academic Practice Officer in the Faculty of Business and Law.
Louise's current teaching focusses on Family Law, Equity and Trusts and Inter Professional Legal Skills. She has a particular expertise in the law relating to children and advocacy and negotiation skills.
Louise is committed to access to justice for all and takes an active role in charity fundraising activities organised in the law school to promote this.
Outside of work, Louise is a keen and expert skier.
