Personal profile

Dr. Laleh Kasraian is a Senior Lecturer in Information Systems with the School of Computer Science and Informatics at ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ in Leicester, UK.

She received her PhD in Business Information Systems (BIS) from University College Cork in Ireland for her work on the role of Core IS Capabilities throughout the IS/IT Service Co-Production lifecycle. She completed her M.Sc. in e-Commerce from Lulea University of Technology in Sweden and her B.Sc. is in Computer Software Engineering from Tehran Azad University, Iran. She has participated in Enterprise Ireland’s funded research studies which were mainly related to the deployment of the mixed methodologies in innovative service design and development. 

With over 20 years of industry experiences, she managed a number of IS/IT researches and projects within a range of multi-disciplinary areas, such as e-Banking, Energy Management Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning customisation/deployment, IT Strategy & Enterprise Architecture, Information Systems analysis projects in  public and private organisations.
