This induction should be completed per person and is only applicable to Estates & Facilities Directorate Contractors.

Failure to comply with any of the above-mentioned items will result in individuals being sent off site and potentially being refused entry to the university to work on future occasions. Please ensure that you have read and understood this information.
When signing in at the Estates Services Building reception, you will be required to complete a declaration of agreement to the above.
The reception operates during the following hours: Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm and Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Contractors must sign in and out at the reception during times outside of these operating hours.
Non-Estates & Facilities Contractor Induction Instructions
This set of induction information is designed for non-Estates & Facilities Directorate Contractors.
1. Working for faculties or other (non-Estates & Facilities) directorates.
Your designated faculty / directorate contact will need to book in your attendance to site in advance of your arrival. You need only complete this induction should you require 1) key access, 2) an access swipe card, 3) vehicle parking or 4) assistance in locating services, access to restricted areas or guidance as to facilities based systems.
2. Risk management
You must ensure that your work activities (if necessary) are suitably risk assessed, in advance of your arrival. A copy of this risk assessment should be provided to the relevant faculty / directorate.
3. Campus etiquette
You will be expected to maintain your professionalism at all times and follow any applicable university guidance, policies or procedures whilst on campus. Additionally, should you be allocated vehicle parking then you must comply with ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ's Vehicle Parking & Cycle Policy.

Contractor Parking Charges
¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ Contractors are expected to Pay & Display, in addition to the assigned Contractor Parking Permit provided by the Estates Services Building reception. Pay and display charges are £2 for up to 5 hours, or £4 for up to 12 hours. A monthly permit can be purchased through the at the discounted charge of £60 per month. Should you hold a Local Authority Blue Badge then you would be exempt from the Pay & Display charge, but the Blue Badge must be on display.
